This week brought our much-anticipated Cloud & Cocktail Masterclass held at the iconic Stadium MK. As our first major event since the pandemic, the day unfolded as a vibrant blend of flair, flavour, and fine spirits, generously shared with our valued customers and local businesses. Partnering with our friends at Westcoast Cloud, the event promised an unforgettable experience, and it delivered just that.

A Warm Welcome and Energising Start

Starting at 10:30am Stadium MK was filled with the chatter and excitement of guests arriving. The Nexus Fusion team set the stage for an immersive day ahead, welcoming guests to a delightful breakfast spread of pastries, break wraps, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere was upbeat from the get-go, setting the perfect tone for what lay ahead.

Insights and Strategies Unveiled

Our dynamic speakers, David Cox, Danny Warner and Candy Keen guided guests through presentations on strategy and vision. The focus? The transformative benefits of modernising workloads and processes with Microsoft Azure Modernisation. Additionally, a technical talk delved into the intricacies of business premium licenses and the invaluable advantages of the Microsoft Security Power Platform.

Lunch with a View

The afternoon ushered in a change of scenery as guests migrated to the hotel’s lunch quarter and seating area, offering stunning views of the pitch. Here, a delectable two-course lunch, expertly crafted by the hotel’s chefs, became the backdrop for meaningful conversations between our team and customers. Networking buzzed as connections were forged and relationships deepened.

Cocktail Masterclass Extravaganza

The highlight of the day arrived after lunch – the highly anticipated cocktail masterclass. The venue transformed into a cocktail haven, complete with custom-built bars by T.T Liquor. Guests were welcomed with complimentary cocktails, and Mixologist Tom took centre stage, leading a two-hour masterclass. Each participant had the chance to craft cocktails, unleashing their creativity using premium liquor, fresh ingredients, and specialised equipment. Healthy competition ensued, as each cocktail bar vied to create the most original concoction, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience!
